A postdoctoral or project scientist position is available at the Institute for Pediatric Regenerative Medicine and Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Medicine, University of California, Davis, to study the mechanism and prevention of birth defects related to neural and craniofacial development using mutant mouse models and/or stem cells. The institute provides strong research supports with internal postdoctoral fellowship opportunities for recent PhDs. Salary with health insurance will be commensurate to the latest NIH scale. Self-motivated candidates who have PhD or equivalent degrees with demonstrated publication productivities and experience in embryo manipulation, in situ hybridization, transgenic/gene-targeting construction, ES/iPS cells, and/or genomic sequencing approaches are particularly welcome to apply.
