Subject: Special SICB session for Howard

Hi All,

Steve McCormick and I are organizing a special contributed oral session in honor of Howard
at the upcoming SICB meeting in San Francisco (Jan 3-7, 2013) entitled "Perspectives in
Comparative Endocrinology: A Special Session Honoring Howard Bern."

Our aim is to have these talks be reflective, looking both backward and forward on topics
dear to Howard. These will be regular 15 min presentations, submitted through the SICB
web http://www.sicb.org/meetings/2013/

I apologize that our time is short, the deadline for abstract submission is Sept 7.
